Swasthyam 2026 Karkidaka Fest and Awareness Class Held
As part of the Kudumbashree Mission Wayanad – AYUSH Mission FHN-HW Programme, Swasthyam 2026 Karkidaka Fest and an awareness class were organized.
A food exhibition was conducted to introduce participants to changing food habits, the dietary changes that should be adopted during the Karkidaka season, and traditional food practices that have gradually disappeared from daily life.
An awareness class led by Dr. Sijo, Ayurveda Doctor, was also conducted as part of the programme.
The event was inaugurated by Girija Sudhakaran, President, Edavaka Grama Panchayat. Sharafunnisa, CDS Chairperson, presided over the function.
