Public Safety and Traffic Management Notice

• Trees posing a danger shall be cut and removed to ensure the safety of the life and property of the public and to facilitate the smooth movement of traffic on public roads and public places.

• Trees and tree branches that are leaning, dried, or otherwise pose a potential danger shall be cut and removed safely without delay, or necessary safety measures shall be taken to prevent any danger to the public.

• Any cultivation of grass, vegetables, flowering plants, ornamental plants, or other vegetation carried out by encroaching upon public roads, public ways, or their puramboke areas shall be removed immediately. Any other obstructions or structures that hinder traffic or the free movement of the public shall also be removed without delay.

• Other objects, construction materials, unauthorized advertisement boards, banners, and similar obstructions that pose a danger to the public or obstruct traffic shall also be removed immediately to ensure public safety.

• The Secretary, Edavaka Grama Panchayat, has informed that if the above directions are not complied with even after the issuance of this notice, or if situations causing danger to the public or obstruction to traffic continue, strict prosecution and other legal action will be initiated under the applicable laws.
