Pension Data Update

Important Notice for Welfare Pension Beneficiaries

The notice issued for welfare pension beneficiaries of Edavaka Grama Panchayat is explained below with greater clarity.

Three Important Instructions

1. Phone Number Update

  • The phone numbers of many welfare pension beneficiaries are not accurately recorded in the welfare portal.
  • Beneficiaries who do not have a mobile number recorded, or whose previously provided number is no longer active, must provide their new active phone number.
  • This will help ensure that official pension-related information and SMS messages reach beneficiaries directly.

2. Verification of Name Details (Name Matching with Aadhaar)

  • The beneficiary’s name in the welfare portal must exactly match the name on the Aadhaar card.
  • The name should appear exactly as written in the Aadhaar card, including spelling and initials.
  • Therefore, a self-attested copy of the Aadhaar card (signed by the beneficiary) is required.
  • If there are any name mismatches, they will be corrected through this data update process.

3. Recording New Ward Changes (Ward Upgradation to 21 Wards)

  • Currently, beneficiary details in the welfare portal are based on the old 19-ward structure.
  • As per the new ward division, this has now been changed to 21 wards.
  • At present, the portal cannot generate an accurate report mapping the old 19 wards to the new ward structure.
  • Beneficiaries must therefore provide their current ward number accurately (from 1 to 21).
  • Only then will the Panchayat office be able to correctly update beneficiary details from the old ward to the new ward in the welfare portal.

Attention Beneficiaries

To make the above changes, beneficiaries must submit a copy of their latest Aadhaar card (self-attested with signature), current phone number, and new ward number to the Edavaka Grama Panchayat Office before 30/07/2026, either in person or through the concerned ward member/official.
